Take a hit—no need to panic! On the other hand, after hearing their blistering set at this year’s Seattle Hempfest, it should really be EVERYBODY PANIC. Born from the great plains of Oklahoma and signed to Cavi-Gold Records, the band made the trek up to Seattle for a massive Saturday afternoon set played on this year’s newly added Hempfest “Cavi-Land”, Caviar Gold stage. Dealing in the heavy corridors of Hard Rock, sharpened on edges of Heavy Metal and grounded with technical savvy, EVERYBODY PANIC pushes through the artistic mainstream boundaries, garnering a bounty of fan appreciation. Branched with savory melodic buds, virile layered rhythms, and certified as high-energy, live-show trusted, the band recently set off on a September tour run with Dead Horse Trauma and Death Division that will close out in early October following an additional, coveted October 14th date with Anthrax, and Death Angel in Idaho Falls, ID. Be sure to check out my interview below with lead singer/jiu-jitsu master Ty Gay, and guitarist Provo Provenzano, talking Seattle Hempfest fun, touring, new album plans, and suppressed Oklahoma weed.
